Alex Breaks Regional Record @ the Winter Championships!
Uncategorized — By jomurphy on November 4, 2008 at 8:50 pmWith a time of 34.30, 13 yr old Alex knocked 1.5 seconds off the previous record for 50m Breastststroke, Long course (50m pool) and took Bronze in the Junior event in Aldershot Garrison Pool. He also got into the finals for the 100m breaststroke event and was the youngest in the field for both events
This follows good form, as the previous weekend he was at the ESSA Nationals, Enfield and scooped 2 bronzes for his 100 breast and relay events whilst representing his school – King Alfre’d’s, Wantage and swimming for Division 10.
