CHANGES TO ABINGDON GALA, JAN 2010.

As most of you will be aware the swimming pool at the White Horse Leisure centre in Abingdon has been closed for a while now and is due to open again in the New Year. However, they can’t guarantee it’ll be open in time for the Abingdon swimming gala on 9/10th Jan. They had the foresight to secure time at Temple Cowley pool in Oxford which they have now made the decision to use for this gala.

Unfortunately they have only managed to secure the pool for Saturday 9th Jan and therefore all races will take place on the SAT only with the attached timetable.

They are aware that this change may cause some people a problem and will issue refunds to any swimmers who cannot now make the meet but you must let me know asap if your swimmer can no longer make it.

This could now open up spaces in an otherwise full event so they would consider additions if they can fit them in so please let me know asap.

Abingdon send their sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

The timings on the attached timetable may change slightly once they know final numbers for each event.
