Fixtures List Updated

The fixtures list has been updated. It now lists swimming galas taking place between Sept and Dec. This is for your information/planning purposes.

When details of a swimming gala are available I will add them to the website so you can check if it is suitable for your swimmer.

For those of you new to galas, there is information included in your welcome pack, also on the Barramundi website, which explains the procedure for entering.

Galas are graded, with a Level 3/4, aimed at the novice swimmer, Level 2, for experienced/faster swimmers and then Level 1 (National level). Throughout the year you may find galas that clash but both are relevant to the club as they are targeting different level swimmers e.g 5/6th Dec Tigersharks level 3 aimed at the novice swimmers with City of Oxford attracting the more experienced swimmer.
You will note, highlighted in red on the fixtures list are our Club Championships, all Barramundi swimmers are expected to enter if available and registered with ASA. As The Wave is not suitable for competing we are invited, along with 3 other small clubs,  to hold our Club championships with City of Oxford Swim Club at Temple Cowley pool.

No medals are handed out on the day, but we will hold our own presentation night on Sat 28th Nov. Please aim to keep these dates free.
