Wycombe swimming gala is taking place on 16/17th October at Handy Cross Sports Centre, High Wycombe.

This is a B/C grade gala which is just another way of grading a swimming gala and equates to a Level 3/4. There are “no faster than” times (included in the attachment) and as long as the swimmer is no faster than the B grade times, they can enter.
This is our nearest 50m pool and would be a great opportunity for swimmers to experience this length of pool. They are offering 50m, 100m and 200m events.
If you’re unsure whether this gala is suitable, please check with your swimmer’s coach.
When filling out the entry form (attached), you must enter DOB and ASA registration No. as well as entering a time against the events you want to race. The time you enter must be a long course time (50m pool) and as most of you will have only swam in a 25m pool, you will have to convert the 25m time into a 50m time. This can be done by clicking on the following link:
It is really straight forward but if you need any help to convert a time please let me know.
This gala is being filled on a “first come first served” basis, so the earlier we enter the better.
Please pass the completed entry form, for the attention of Geraldine Kelly, along with payment of £4.50 per event (cheques payable to DIDCOT BARRAMUNDI SC) no later than Fri 18th June.
