Results of the Basingstoke Gala are posted in the results section. Places and Disqualifications have been added. Anyone who was DQ’d should not worry – everyone gets DQ’d at various points in their career. The key is that with practice and persistence it will happen less and less

Congratulations to all the swimmers. They all swam well in their events.

Congratulations to Daniella Springett who achieved a Gold Medal in the 50m Breaststroke with an excellent time of 50.23.

Congratulations also to David Murphy who won Gold in the 50m Butterfly with a time of 44.9. David also got two speeding tickets, one for Breaststroke and one for Freestyle.
