By jomurphy on May 14, 2010Ted Gerring has helped out once again this year by giving us a Donation of £250.00 which is specifically to support our new venture of taking swimmers to 50m pool training. Last year Ted helped by kitting out the County Squad and in our first year helped us out by giving our funds a kick start!
As we all know there is no viable 50m pool available for training in this area. This is crucial to enable our Regionalists and Nationalists to learn how to race a 50m pool race. What !? no wall to turn on at the 25m mark??? A very different way to compete. So the club has a mission to help those who need to travel to pools that will offer practise in these skills.
Aldershot has become the ‘local’ favourite’ but the whole venture is expensive. This money will make a big difference to our swimmers. Thanks again Ted!!

Just a line to say thankyou for the write up above.So pleased that my donation can help make your new venture happen.The club and all it’s swimmers have achieved so many goals in a relativley short time.Good luck to all the swimmers taking part in events over the next few weeks.Hope to see you all at The Barbie in July!
